Viva Vox
Viva Vox Choir is a beautiful story of how a group of friends, high school students turned their friendship and love of singing, into success and a cultural reference in their country.
In the beginning it was all just pure joy, getting together singing songs that were mostly oldies and traditional choir songs as most do. That started to shift when the choir started to grow and there was a will to experiment with something different. How different you ask? Rammstein – Du Hast different! As a result of that cover, Viva Vox was seen around the world, and started to gather attention in Serbia. In 2010 the choir was doing concerts for mostly friends and family in a 200 seat room. Only a year and a half after that a concert hall of 4000 was sold out.
In 2012, this hall was sold out three nights in a row. This rise saw the choir tour all over Serbia with occasional shows abroad, but the peak of it was no doubt a concert in New York at the United Nations General Assembly in 2013 (which was broadcasted live on television in Serbia). That same year took the choir to China where they had the honor to perform in The Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
After all that, another big solo concert was a natural next step so in 2015 in the Belgrade Arena, Viva Vox had a world class performance in front of 10,000 people.
Since then, life took its course and many things changed. A lot of new faces are there, and they will create their own story using the past as an inspiration and proof that everything is possible.
