Long time ago, in 2001, a grunge alternative band called Broken Strings was founded. The band was constantly rising in the Serbian underground rock scene getting attention for their energetic live performances/songs, and great lyrics which ultimately won them first place in the prestigious “Zaječarska Gitarijada” competition in 2005. Their album “Svaki Trenutak Ostaje…” is freakin’ masterpiece. 

During this time, I was already friends with the boys, regularly going on their gigs and often performing with my own band the same night. So when their singer Bogdan moved away, coming into this team felt natural as I already knew the songs so everything clicked fast.

We had some great time together, awesome gigs and we started working on the second album. As life happened, we drifted into different directions and eventually stopped playing. But these guys are my brothers, we talk from time to time, and plans on publishing that second album are still there. Hopefully 2025 will be THE year.
